"We have a very unique relationship with Compusys", explains Steve. "Although the company isn’t local to us, the knowledge, expertise and support that we have benefited from during the last four years are something that we would struggle to find anywhere else in the UK."
Compusys offered to support and develop Merry Hill’s existing hardware systems and software programmes with a solution called ‘Total Care’. This service works on the old adage that ‘prevention is better than cure’, combining helpdesk support and remote diagnostic services with monthly on-site check-ups. "It was quite an open-ended opportunity for Compusys" says Steve. "We entered into an agreement with Compusys whereby they provided us with an IT consultant one day per month and telephone back up should we need it in between."
